The office of Institutional Research serves the college by providing information for decision-making and planning through a variety of analytic activities, data-gathering tasks, and research projects. The IR office reports to the President while also working regularly with many others at the College. The office makes relevant data available to College administration and faculty and to the College community when appropriate.
Institutional Research requires that analyses, reports, and surveys be prepared for the College, federal agencies, state agencies, and other external agencies. The office of IR serves as the official source of objective, research-based data about the College’s students, faculty and staff; its programs; its resources; and its peer institutions.
Information collected and published through the office of IR is designed to support the College’s mission in “helping individuals to achieve their fullest potential, thereby making their greatest contribution to society.”
